Cameron Fica
Cameron Fica is a 12-year-old author and world traveler who went on his first airplane ride at just three months old! Since then, he has lived in four states and visited all 50 U.S. states and more than 40 countries. His love of sloths (and coffee shops) inspired the idea for Slothee Wants Coffee during a family trip to Costa Rica.
Cameron is homeschooled and worldschooled, blending travel and learning wherever he goes. He holds three college certificates in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and placed 5th in the 2024 National Geography Bee. When he’s not writing or exploring maps, Cameron loves discovering new places, animals, and adventures that spark his imagination.
Nikki Pezzopane
Nikki Pezzopane is the co-author and creative partner behind Slothee Wants Coffee. Originally from Metro Detroit, she moved to Arizona in high school and attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. She later earned a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University.
Although she began her career in a different field, Nikki discovered her true passion for creativity and storytelling. Whether she’s writing, exploring a new place, or enjoying a great cup of coffee, Nikki finds joy in connecting with others through creativity and adventure.
